Try this: Click on one of your folders, mash down on the "down arrow" key. Assuming you have several folders with lots of messages in them, you should see the contents of your folders being displayed one after the other. How fast does it go from folder to folder? For me, it's about one folder per second. >Have you tired compacting your database? It actually isn't related to how many message in the folder; it's how many are displayed in the window.
