There seem to be a bug in the Address book function.

I'm trying to create a group of about 7 addresses. For some reason
PowerMail refuses to add all 7 people. It accepts the creation of
the group, and the addition of the addresses to it. However, when
I close the address book window and reopen it, only two people are
in it the group that I just created. And it's always the same
two people.

I tried deleting the group, closing PowerMail and creating the group
in Apple's Address book. It's there in Apple's Address Book, but
again, the same two people are in it in PowerMail. All the options
in the 'Synchronization' pane in the preferences are checked on
and in the advanced panels are also checked on.

So creating the group through Apple's Address Book worked in Apple's
address book, but couldn't force PowerMail to accept all the people
in it, and the others don't get deleted from Apple's Address Book, no
matter how many times PowerMail synchronizes both address books and
they never appear in the group in PowerMail.

Creating the group in PowerMail, in Apple's address book I get only
the two people that PowerMail is keeping in the group.

Why can't PowerMail accept all 7 people? Why would it refuse to
save some addresses in a group? I couldn't find anything peculiar
about the people that were kept in the group in PowerMail or
anything peculiar about the ones that were not. This is really
frustrating.

PowerMail 4.1.3, OS X 10.2.6, Address Book 3.0.3

Help...
