Simple question: What is the syntax for inserting the contents of a text clipping in a new message via Applescript? I've tried all the permutations I could think of. Obviously I'm missing something here. Each time I try, I get an empty message in the Out Tray. I've tried copying the clipping to a variable, setting the clipping to a variable, accessing the clipping by "name" and "clipping" properties; nothing seems to work.
I then have to add the clipping manually. Kind of defeats the purpose, don't you think? :-) I know how to add text directly from within the script but again, that defeats the purpose of having these marvelous text clippings. Once I get that working, I'm but one step away from using PowerMail at work. All that would remain is to find a Mac OS X native "Ph" client that is scriptable.
