Pat, under OS 9 the sounds are in the PowerMail Additions Folder, under OS X ypu have to open the package. You do so by clicking with pressed ctrl-key on the PM icon. A contextual menu appears. Choose display package. Then you'll find the sounds in Contents:MacOS:PowerMail Additions.
