OK, I downloaded vs 4.1.3 and updated the indexes, and it is a good improvement. Searches are much faster (and I guess more accurate)
Max, here is how you can mimic a boolean search: First search for your first term, i.e. "hog" You get a window with the found messages. Select all messages in this window and search 'in selected messages' for your second term. I agree, not an ideal solution, but it always worked for me.
