I remember that importing messages with extended charactersets from Outlook 4.5 (Classic) into PM 3.0.9 (running natively in OS X 10.0.2), that in it's run had successfully imported from Emailer 2.0v3 with proper character formatting, yielded erroneous characters, which of course is unacceptable. Anyone know if this character problem is gone with OS X 10.2.x (and/or PM 3.1.3 or at least in 4.x) or if using PM 3 or 4 booted into Classic can solve the problem?
I also noticed that I had a similar problem here under OS X 10.2.5 and PM 3.1.3 after I imported 416 messages in Eudora mailbox format coming from Emailer. Some, but not all of these had erroneous characters. What lies behind these extended ASCII character problems? Any ideas? I know CTM can't cater specifically for Emailer, that haven't been updated since 1998, but this is Eudora mailbox format. It should work. This seem to me to be a serious problem. If I really can't migrate properly I might as well not. But I want to. Please help if you can.
