PM - does NOT - handle HTML.

The reason you can see HTML rendered is that PM uses Apples HTML renderer
(build into the system and automatically installed when you install a
later than (8.6?) OS from Apple). 

Think of the rendered HTML within PM as a surface thing, not a thing of
PM itself.

If you want to FWD the message, you first have to CHANGE TO TEXT (see the
popup at the left hand bottom of the html message, the one next to the
globe). 

Now you see what PM does with it - just plain text. And thus now you can
forward it.
