Wayne, tell me, how do you want to built an user-interface with SQL? SQL is a query-language for databases and also Postgre is a SQL-database as well as mySQL. But you still can't make a user-interface with that one, so you need a tool on top of that. For that you can use 4D, VB, or any highlevel language. That's why all these databases provide you with a c++ or Java library. But of course you can also use a html based front end with phd or xml.
