Can't get my ISP to recognize PowerMail.
I use a Beige G3 running system 9.2 with a 40 gb hard disk (lots of
room), 448 mg ram, & 900
mg virtual memory, I am a registered, paid user of PowerMail c/o
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
PROBLEM is that I can't get my ISP (Time Warner Cable) to recognize
PowerMail when I try to
log on. ISP verifies all my PW & etc. info and say it must be the
software (natch).
Anyway, I've changed all my internet config stuff, with & without the PM
Email set-up and
tried to sign on. I've made sure Netscape isn't running when I try to
sign on with PM,
restarted w/o Netscape running, etc. NO LUCK. What am I missing???
I run everything on my machine w/o problems... I've used Netscape 4.7.9
but am beginning to
have problems with the internet browser so I will switch to IE 5.1 as my
preferred internet
browser, and do email with PM 4.1.2. Once I get it to work.
I am still sending and receiving with Netscape.
