Hi Jérôme,

after upgrading my PowerBook to OS X 10.2.5 I'm having big trouble
using my Message Database, which ist stored on my PowerMac Server (also
running 10.2.5):

I'm running PowerMail on the PowerBook and the Message Database is on
the PowerMac Server (PowerMac 867 DP MDD).

The problem is that newly received messages cannot be read or otherwise
handled. In fact almost every new message received this way is not
proberly stored in the PM database.

The first error is displayed when I try to move the mesasge to a folder
manually. Subsequently I get more errors when I try to dispose of the
message:

The error messages are (German version)
- Nachricht kann nicht bewegt werden
   Fehler Datenbank 100 () in 7 (DbUpdateRecord).
   LowLevel Fehler 4

- Nachricht Attribute kann nicht geändert werden
Fehler Datenbank 6 (Doppelter Schlüssel in Db Index) in 7
(DBUpdateRecord)
   LowLevel Fehler 2

... indicating a duplicate key in index

Rebuildng the database with PowerMail on the server fixes the problems
for the very short term, - until I receive the next bunch of messages
on the PowerBook. Note that this cannot be a "multi-user access"
problem, since I don't run PowerMail on the PowerBook AND the Server
the same time.

Peter
