>Could someone explain to me the REAL interest of filtering spam? there are people who do want to have the liberty of receiving communication or not.
spam forces communication on people they do not want. there are people who do not want to know all the porn sites, or how to grow a larger penis or loose 20 pounds in 2 days or see the hottest chicks or refinance or buy a bigger house for cheaper, a bigger car for cheaper, see even hotter chicks live online or or or. it's intrusion of private sphere if it happens without somebody asking for it and seeing these unsolicitated mails in ones inbox can become worse than a red cloth to a bull. junk junk junk. something one does not want. like a strange dog leaving his crap in your yard. sure, you can clean it away. one dog, even two dogs and their business in your yard. but if you get it dog after dog and you can't even leave your house without stepping into it and you have to clean it up even though you didn't ask for it in the first place will let you get angry, upset if not at least irritated with the time. building a fence so they can't come into your yard in the first place or a little robot who automatically cleans up is something nice to have then. this is the REAL interest of filtering spam, how I see it. ---marlyse
