Mark, I actually had to check that I put it in the Read Me before I
posted. ;) Besides, RTFM sometimes isn't helpful. Besides, I want people
to use the scripts and being flippant in responding doesn't get you very far.

I've found that the scripts actually run pretty quickly. Faster that they
seemed to in Entourage. YMMV. I've found that things in PM seem to grind
to a halt when checking and downloading new mail occurs.

As Wayne pointed out AppleScript is for doing stuff "under the hood". If
you wait for user interaction things slow down more. Adding progress bars
are possible but would probably be more intrusive and slower than just
letting the script crank away.
