Not in the AppleScript dictionary of PM, so it isn't going to happen
soon. Maybe somebody else has an idea for you.

If you file things in certain folders you might be able to setup some
mail rules to do this, but this is a feature request that isn't readily
available.

There is a way of using labels for this but it requires using
AppleScripts, so this may not what you're looking for. For the record we
had a discussion about this just the other week. It seems most on this
list didn't see a need for them and to be honest I'm not a fan of flags,
but that's just my personal preference. With labels I don't see much of a
need for flags. Although it would be nice to be able to sort labels.

There is a workaround for this that involves setting up multiple accounts
so that the additional X-header information is added. I will note (as I
always do) that any and all X-headers are totally optional and since
there isn't any RFC they may or may not work. You can setup rules in
PowerMail for incoming messages, but there isn't any automatic flags for
priorities. Instead they are ignored. Many of the internet mailers do the
same thing, so they may or may not be useful to you.

I recently cleaned up my mail, so I don't have the complete instructions
for this. Anybody have the directions I posted a couple of months ago
about how to setup priorities? If so, would somebody be kind enough to
send that message to the list again? Thanks!

For what it's worth, I find TextSOAP does the best job of this (but it
requires a copy and paste of the information). As mentioned there are
also some AppleScripts available that you can try.
