on Sat, Feb 22, 2003, at about 3:05 PM, from somewhere far, far away,
thru much static and screechy feedback, C. A. Niemiec managed to crackle
and hiss

that gives:
File error 100 () in 4 (Deleting file).
Low level error -47

>2. If not, try checking "Low level database rebuild".

and this gives:
MAS error 2 (Data not found) in 1 (Read index)..
Low level error 0

so... am I just screwed??

============

and why can't I get it to launch WITHOUT trying to open my old files?
(I'm sending this from another computer) If I could do that, I could at
least import from Mailsmith and get all but the past couple month's worth...

I know, I know, I should be backing up.. .and I did, actually.. tried
archiving with that email archive thing (can't think of the name offhand)
but THOSE files disappeared, too. Yeah, that's right... never got round
to actually putting them on my external back up or zip disks... ::sigh::

So, how should I go about getting a brand spanking new FRESH copy of
PowerMail to launch so I can start from scratch again?

thanks!

Jo
