Why does 'activate' work here but 'launch' brings up a Powermail process that has no browser window and no menu choices that had to be quit from the launcher and left the system with non functional menu bar for a couple of minutes after quit. Think I'll have to play with that again but first see if I can figure out an alternative reboot procedure to save wear and tear on the power strip. Martin
