I have to chime in on this one. It's not about what I think is best.
These scripts and the site really aren't mine. Yes, I've written some of
them, but they belong to others as well. One of the things I really have
enjoyed about not only PowerMail, but this list as well is there is a
real sense of community here. Very few lists have been able to maintain
that for any length of time. 

If you really want "whatever Wayne thinks the best", then Wayne thinks it
should be up to the community to decide. So far it seems most want CTM to
host them and that is a wonderful thing. Again, like you, I urge CTM to
be careful because people will want support for these AppleScript files.
The nice thing about hosting them on a third party site is that support
is not generally expected.
