I just cleaned my system.
Upon restoring everything, I found PM did loose its auth even though PMKey files are where should be. Rebuilt desktop and DW along with NDD and TTP didn't correct the possible catalog B-Tree problem, so it seems PM's own problem. Here is the interesting outcome. By double-clicking the PMKey file itself brings a message: "This is a PM4.0 key file. Would you like to customize PM?" If say no, PM runs under demo mode. If say yes, all is well.
