500 billion (or so) years ago, the universe was born... not much else has happened since, until Sat, Feb 1, 2003 at 5:29 PM, PST, when Marcus Jarrett burst forth with this important announcement:
>You can change the subject line of received mails with this script: > >tell application "PowerMail" > set tm to the current messages > set tm to tm's 1st item > set tName to tm's subject > set newName to text returned of (display dialog "Enter New name" default answer tName with icon note) > set tm's subject to newName >end tell > >just paste it into Script Editor and save it as a script document in the >PM Scripts folder. I just tried this, Marcus... but am getting an 'end of file' error when I try to run it. Was I supposed to change something within the parentheses? I tried running it by having the message selected in the main browser list, and also after double-clicking to open the message, with and without the subject line selected. thanks, -- Jo =========================== Giraffiti: Vandalism spray-painted very, very high. . .
