Hi All,
I can appreciate the issues that those of you with 2GB databases are
facing, and I respect CTM's decision to stay at 2GB for the foreseeable
future. They are clearly aware if the issue, and the passions, and the
effort to resolve it.
I, sitting here with my "small" database of:
33,782 Messages (mostly imported from Eudora)
70 Message folders
200MB
I am a long way from the limit and would rather any new development effort be
put toward other features and improvements. The top of my list looks like
this:
Let me control text parameters such as bold, italic, font size in
outgoing mail.
Mostly I just want a sprinkling of bold for emphasis, but forwarding
existing formated email would be a big plus.
Likewise, Let me insert images into outgoing mail.
(Bug) CMD-W and <esc> do not close the "Search Messages" dialog box.
Now that's strange, I just saw that fail and 5 minutes later work. :-(
(Bug) Option-Shift + arrow-key should select words in the subject field.
(Low priority) Might be controversial, but I'd actually like to edit
incoming mail,
including the subject line. I don't do it often but did like to do it
in Eudora from time to time. I realize that you'll create a duplicate
if I want and this is almost as good.
(Low priority) being able to have incoming mail flagged "Urgent", per
the discussion last week. And the ability to support that outgoing.
Maybe there is a way to support common formats even if they are not
"standards."
That's all for now.
Thanks for a really great product (that I practically live in.)
Bruce
