Yes, but as one reason for me why I am using PowerMail is because I've been on many mailing lists and needed a client that could accommodate for that situation, it is of course fitting to use this client for this very purpose. The appropriateness is why, I guess, the list was started once upon a time. I'm sure that I'm not alone appreciating PowerMail this way and as PM is a textbased client, it's a bit silly to have a web based HTML-built forum _instead_of_ a mailing list. However, a webforum interface could be setup interfacing the list content. Also a NNTP news-server could be fitting for storing the messages indefinitely. I find it more likely this user community would blossom in a more profound way with a piece of the web for us. But most likely it would have to be a cooperative user base effort and not rely on CTM in order to function. I can see many reasons why this would be a good thing.
