Hi Leonard,

You should be able to:

1) open PowerMail in your backup environment

2) export the missing messages (put them in a folder first)

3) open PM in your current environment

4) import the messages

Haven't tried this but it should work just fine. Maybe make a backup of
both databases first, just to be on the safe side.

We have found no version of PowerMail able to cope with the momentary
glitches that our network evinces from time to time. We have tried
several releases and the network has destroyed the database with every
one.

Subject: Migration Problems

In the course of migrating to a new computer, my Powermail seems to have
forgotten where to look for my Account Settings, Mail and Address book
database. I've tried importing this information, using
File>Database>Import and going to the User/Mail/Powermail files folder
but I must be importing the wrong item in the Mail folder because it's
not working. What's the appropriate way to manage this migration?

BILL.
