Hi all:

I recently upgraded from PM5.

Now each time PM6 starts up I get a msg telling me the index is out of
date and do I want to update. If I say yes it then does a complete re-
index of *all* msgs.

Any clues as to how to stop this?

cheers,

Chris

Hi Graham:

I've already said I have no idea what happened. It certainly was not
resent as the result of deliberate action by me as the thread was
finished and I had the answer. I did reset indexing to background and,
so far it works and the problem is solved.

One of life's mysteries :-)

I've just noticed the msg has been resent again as I've received a fresh
copy myself. No idea where it is coming from - there's nothing in my
out tray, so it may be something happening at the server end.
