I'll have to play around with that second user environment. Maybe I can
create a new environment using the exported message databases and
recover the mail that way. It's worth looking into.

I did check for this, and it seems they were not moved into the parent
folder. The importing process takes some time for large- ish imported
databases, so I believe the messages are being imported -- I just can't
seem to find them. If I could remember anything about those older
messages, maybe I could try to search for them. I need to wrack my
memory for that, though.

I'll look into the things mentioned above. I'm fairly confident the
mail is still around (at least in the form of exported message
databases), but getting it back into my main user environment is proving
a challenge.
