I too experienced many crashes before 6.01/6.02 -- since those updates, NONE.
I do regular maintenance on my data files, including the low level rebuild and index . I deal with a lot of email, so although there are things that can be improved, Powermail does a great job for me. The primary area that can be improved is in it's handling of HTML email of which I get more than I'd like. I prefer text email...but the world if full of html email, and for some messages, like newsletters, it actually makes sense.
