Folks, Further to my message from Saturday just reposted regarding our list and mail server malfunctions (and the obvious negative support perceptions) I would like to mention that, although we have some structural technical limitations in PowerMail that preclude us from fulfilling several of the wishes expressed on this list, we are nevertheless still maintaining PowerMail for one, and also enhancing it insofar as its major differentiator, e-mail message searching, is concerned
In that spirit, we have a version 6.0.4 in internal testing which should be out within a week. Don't get your hopes too high up, but don't cry wolf either - we are keeping at PowerMail for its community of users. I will add that all things relating to search have been our focus for the past years, and we think PowerMail exemplifies the FoxTrot search engine in a unique way. As to support - and Letterrip/EIMS server issues notwithstanding - I have admitted to our (my) imperfections in the past and have since resumed at answering questions in a more timely manner. I hope you can read the sincerity with which these lines are written, PowerMail is in its 15th continuous year and to many there is nothing quite like it, even if to some it means using an iPhone, iPad or even Apple Mail on the side for instance for multi-account IMAP notifications....
