I'm running PowerMail 6.1 on an iBook G4 under OS X 10.5.8, and the dialog works fine. I can also boot this machine into OS X 10.4.11. I just checked the later suggestion from CTM regarding the oval show/hide toolbar button, and it toggles the toolbar, hiding the '+' button in my installation, so I hope that this is the solution to your difficulty. - Don
