Thanks for the reply Peter. It's not a .mac address that is being bounced - it's one of the ctmdev.com addresses. Can't fathom out why, since all the list stuff is getting through, so it can't be that the domain as a whole is being blocked.
It sounds as if what happened to your friend is happening here If Chantal can let me know the full details of the message that is bouncing, I'll take it up with the hosting provider to see if they can shed any light on it. I think they operate a system of peripheral security which may bounce stuff before it even reaches the main servers.
