Really. PowerMail is extremely important to me. How long has it been? Ten or
more years of my life organized in PowerMail. Yearly maintenance or paid
upgrades would be well worth it for me. I love the simplicity of PowerMail
(the rebirth of Claris), and I would hate to have to rewrite the the thousand
lines of Mail Filters that I have constructed over the years. I don't know how
big PM's user base is, but I hope that it has the mass to keep this great
program alive.

I second the idea. I would be glad to pay for regular updates in advance (1
year or 2 years?).

Hi Peter,
I would be willing, but I would want details from CTM, such as product strategy
& planned improvements, before committing to a yearly maintenance subscription.

I'd be more than willing to pay an annual fee to get upgrades at no charge. I
wouldn't stay with a system that would stop working if the fee wasn't paid or
the company went out of business.
I certainly don't mind paying for upgrades. Even small ones, like one to
maintain compatibility with OS changes.
Either way, I sure would like to see CTM make enough money to do well in
business. I'd like to pay more to use PowerMail rather than see it go away.

Hi all,
I love PM, and I too have years of settings and filters that I would hate to
have to migrate to some other program - So I would be willing to pay if PM can
stay current.
Questions (that only CTM really knows the answers to) are: How big is the
current userbase? 10k? 100k? 500k? At a $10/user yearly 'upkeep' fee, it
could add up to something, but is it enough? Also, can PM attract new users
via the App store? If so, prices in the app store are usually lower than
software prices have been in the past, but if it gets good ratings and is
priced right, PM could attract more users. Then again, what is the future of
email? Is it soon to be nothing but HTML, or...? Hey, I love good old
fashioned text, but I've been around for, let's just say, a good long while :)
