System error -37 is "bad file name passed to routine; there may be no bad names
in the final system!".
Obviously, there may be bad names in the final system... but I have no idea on
what file this could happen.

Did this error occur after rebuilding, or did you try to rebuild to fix the
error? In the later case, do you remember the circonstances where it occurred?

My version of Powermail 6.1.3 fails and quits on me at least 4 times a day now
that I am on OS 10.8.1 on my iMac. It is unpredictable and I am constantly
relaunching it. Any suggestions?

well, I know that one ... which doesn't tell much.

that's the problem, I suspect the index file.

it happened out of the blue before and after the rebuilt.
During the first rebuilt PM crashed then I changed the .old file names back and
rebuilt again including index files, then I get the error again.

cheers

I also have crashes about once a day on average, and I suspect that they're
related to use of IMAP for iCloud mail. In almost every case, the crash occurs
when moving a mail item it a folder. Most of those moves are from In Tray, of
course.

I've also noticed a higher incidence of beachballs. Most don't lead to a crash,
but they're more common that before.

Cheers.....Peter
