Thanks for the response Karsten.

I've tried your suggestion plus other changes and still nothing.

My gmail imap account works fine so maybe I'll have to run PowerMail and Apple 
Mail together in order to get all my mail - not the best solution.
Is there a way to look at the underlying message protocol between PowerMail and 
the server to see if there are any helpful messages which could help in 
debugging this problem?
