Yesterday I was looking for a file on my iMac using Spotlight, and it showed a PowerMail message that I thought would help me find that file. I clicked on it and PowerMail did not like it!
Some of PM's folders disappeared, messages in other folders disappeared, fonts changed, etc. I tried dragging my PM folder (from a week-old clone of my HD) containing all its files, but somehow that didn't help. Eventually, I solved the problem moving that clone from the external HD over to my iMac's internal drive (saved recent files elsewhere to put back on the moved clone). Still, I had to change fonts and unbold them to get PM to look the same as before. I don't think I lost many messages, but it's maybe the worst problem I've had w/ PM. First aid for PM didn't help and neither did rebuilding things. Latest version of Mavericks and PowerMail. Tom Miller ..................................................
