Hello, On 1., you need to drag your PMKey file onto the application - typing in the code will not suffice.
On 2. if you have a working setup on a previous Mac, copy the entire PowerMail Files folder to the new Mac, then drag the PowerMail Message database onto the newly installed application - a safer choice than having to reenter configuration data for GMail which has changed policies many times since the 10.4 days.
