Browns Ferry does. We have to categories in which we track hot spots
A. Category 1 Hot Spots 1. The hot spot is accessible or a hazard to personnel and is a contributor to personnel dose for ongoing or scheduled work. Hot spots meeting this criteria should be listed as "Category 1" in the Hot Spot Tracking System. 2. These hot spots are normally given the priority by ALARA for the implementation of dose rate reduction methods. B. Category 2 Hot Spots 1. Located in areas which are not easily accessible to personnel (i.e. located in a LHRA, requiring a ladder or scissors lift or the dose rates from the hot spot are not the primary contributor to personnel dose for the area.) Hot spots meeting this criteria should be listed as "Category 2" in the Hot Spot Tracking System. 2. These hot spots are not a contributor to personnel dose and will be reduced as the schedule allows. These are normally addressed after all of the Category 1 hotspots have been resolved.
