Thank you for your responses to this query. It was unanimous that the RP group is not responsible for the logistical control of radiographers (e.g. coordinating their arrival on-site, ensuring training is done, responsible for work order preparation, etc.). Some other group has the responsibility. In some cases, the site has their own radiography personnel. RP might assist in the some aspects of logistics, but the responsibility lies with some other group or department.
It was also unanimous that RP is essentially only responsible for RP related activities such as developing ALARA plans, checking boundaries, control of sources, performing radiological briefings.
