Seth, Since the area for average dose was changed from 1 to 10 square centimeters (RIS 2002-10), San Onofre no longer separates skin dose from discrete particle contamination. Any skin contamination from discrete or distributed contamination that results in a dose calculation is summed and reported and recorded as SDE.
