Brad – Duke is going to Windows 7 in the spring of 2011. I can’t answer for the instrument software, but I can answer for these: Offsite Dose Projection Program – complete rewrite Respirator Issue Manager – replaced with a Sentinel module Effluent Program – complete rewrite Source inventory – replaced with vendor software
The company is still in the legacy testing phase, but the “train” is bearing down quickly. Good luck. Radiation Protection is currently testing our legacy software to see if it works with the 64 bit version. The upgrade will be from the 32 bit version of Windows XP Professional. One of the issues indentified has been with the software used to calibrate Eberline AMS-4's and RMS-3's. Is anyone using the 64 bit version of Windows 7? If so, what issues with RP software have you experienced and how did you work through them? Thanks in advance for your assistance. Brad Krupp Fermi 2 586-4084
