Mike,

Palo Verde uses TV monitors at the RCA entry area in each unit and posters.
During outages our communications group publishes an electronic newsletter at
least daily and provides space for ALARA related articles and tracks outage
dose totals vs. goals. When jobs come in significantly under the dose estimate
folks in those groups are given items such as meal tickets that can be used in
the on-site café, gift cards for local area restaurants, mugs, tee shirts,
lanyard pens, stickers, etc.

Seth.

Subject: Powernet: ALARA Visibility

HNP would like to know;
What ALARA tools are you using for making ALARA dose performance more visible;
i.e. newsletters, TV, posters?

What does your sites campaign to reduce dose and promote ownership look like
visibly.
