Constellation generically refers to the badges as DLRs - Dosimeter of Legal Record
At Ginna Station, very little of the TLD program could be converted to the OSL program. None of the equipment, methodology, etc., carried over well. We wrote procedures that refer specifically to the OSL to avoid confusion...this decision had more to do with the product - e.g., you put an OSL in the MicroStar reader not a TLD, etc, so there was really no need to attempt to change multiple references. As the references referring to the TLD came up for periodic review, they were deleted. Changes that affected the station were made immediately, changes that affected RP only were made over time. For those who did switch, did you attempt to change all your references to TLDs at the same time (dozens of procedures, software, and training documents)? Or did you make some changes as they became convenient?
