A quick question for those sites using the Canberra (Tennelec) 5XLB running
Eclipse Software.

When performing daily QC checks, the results are compared to the upper and
lower control limit to verify the instrument is acceptable for use.

Question: Does your site compare the results of the individual counts for each
QC run or the average?
Example: If you take 10 one-minute counts for efficiency determination, do you
compare each of the 10 counts individually to the upper and lower limits or do
you compare the average of the 10 measurements to the UCL and LCL?

My inclination is to use the average of the counts.

Thank you,
