1. Does your facility allow anyone other than Sr RP technicians to conditionally release material from an RCA, Satellite RCA, etc? i.e. Jr's or qualified rad workers escort rad material qualified? Only Sr. HPs (with supervisor concurrence) can conditionally release. However, Jr. HPs (as well as seniors) can escort/transport radioactive material from one RCA to another (or back to the same RCA). 1. What requirements does your facility place on personnel to escort radioactive material from one RCA to another within your protected area? Only HPs (jr or sr) can do this. 1.
