Palo Verde provides the following response: Palo Verde does not perform response checks on our electronic dosimeters (Palo Verde uses the DMC-2000S and performs a semi-annual calibration). During initial usage of this electronic dosimeter we random selected 10 electronic dosimeters per unit per month to response check. Several years of this testing yielded zero failures and thus this practice was suspended. The calibration process and internal diagnostics have been deemed sufficient.
