Palo Verde provides the following response:
Palo Verde prepares a Periodic Review report annually that looks at a portion
on the Radiation Protection Program each year. The Radiological Engineering
group prepares the report. The report contains an executive summary, a detailed
review of the program areas due that year, and summary with conclusions. The
report is approved by Radiation Protection management and sent to plant
management. A procedure describes the program areas, review frequency, report
content, and report distribution. Several days are spent in data collection and
report writing, followed by the review and approval by Radiation Protection
management.

Subject: Powernet: 10CFR20.1101(C) Annual Review of RP Program
Hi All,
I have inherited the preparation of the review here at Diablo Canyon. I would
like to benchmark other plants to see how others meet this requirement.
1) How do you meet this requirement at your facility?
2) How much time do you typically spend on the actual generation of the review?
3) Do you have a procedure that governs this process?
Could you please provide a contact at your facility for further follow-up?
Thanks,
Linda
