Fort Calhoun Station we post RCA with Caution, Radioactive Materials Area, RWP
required for entry into RCA, TLD and dosimeter required for entry. If the
conditions warrant then we add radiation area.

Subject: Powernet: Quick posting benchmark...

At SONGS, we have an arrangement of posting phrases (RA,RMA, REP (RWP)
Required, etc...) at our RCA boundary. We also have several satellite RMA's and
RCA's at our site. In some cases, for satellite area's the signage can read the
same, whether RMA or RCA.

At your site do you use specific signage inserts that have the words
"Radiologically Controlled Area" at your RCA boundary, or do you use some
combination of other phrases (such as Radiation Area, Rad. Materials Area, RWP
Required, etc...)?

If you don't have specific verbiage (RCA) on your signs demarking a satellite
RCA boundary how do you post to differentiate between a satellite RCA and a
satellite RMA to alert workers as to what type of area they may be entering?
