Exelon, LaSalle station sends harnesses and slings to laundry for
processing. Exelon, laundry vendor, and vendor of harnesses, slings made
a special wash process specifically for these items. They then are
returned to site after air dried

Subject: Powernet: Control of contaminated harnesses and slings

Does your plant have a special protocol for decontaminating contaminated
harnesses and nylon slings?

If a harness or sling has been decontaminated to non-detectable levels
as determined by SAM and frisker, do you still place any special
restrictions on its use or release?

Thanks in advance.
