SONGS uses 800 MHZ radios and hard wired
David Clarke. We are trying to get off of our Telex system; haven't used
them the past couple of outages.
We are trying to purchase a Cisco IP
phone system that operates at 2.4 & 5 GHZ. We want to use the 2.4 range
for voice; and 5 GHZ for data (handheld tablets, PDA etc.)

What does your facility utilize for remote
monitoring technology communications (telex, radios, etc) while performing
job coverage?
What is the frequency band for your system?
Our engineering group only allows us to
utilize 900 MHZ to 2.4 GHZ and this limits the types of system we can use.
I would appreciate any additional information your site could provide
about your system such as the vendor, cost, etc.
Thanks,
