DC Cook would like to know in regards to Effluent paths/HEPA vacuums:
Does your facility allow the use of HEPA vacuums outside of the monitored
effluent path boundaries in the Restricted Area to prevent releases to the
environment
and what is the justification for your decision?

Outside of the effluent path boundaries, what controls are in effect to
monitor possible airborne radiation?

Who counts air samples from Restricted Areas outside the monitored effluent
path boundaries?

DC Cook would like to know in regards to Neutron meters:
What instruments/dosimeters are in use at your facility to monitor neutron
dose/dose rates?

Are there any restrictions on the use of lighter-weight neutron meters
instead of rem balls?

How often are surveys performed with instrumentation on neutron exposure
areas?

Do you allow for entry into neutron exposure areas with dosimetry (TLD &
ED) only (no instrumentation), and under
what conditions?
