Our software has a field for SDE-sk and fields for SDE-ex (UL), SDE-ex (UR),
SDE-ex (LL), SDE-ex (LR)

If you want dose assigned to SDE-sk, you enter 4.5 mrem there. If you want it
on an extremity, say it was below the left knee, then it would be assigned to
SDE-ex (LL). It does not put 4.5 mrem in SDE-sk if I put 4.5 mrem in one of
the extremity quadrant fields.

Thanks,
Dohn

Subject: Powernet: DRP dose assignment

Question from Matthew Scannell, FPL

When assigning skin dose from a hot particle (DRP) how does your RP data system
handle the dose assignment in terms of whole-body skin dose(SDE-WB) and
extremity skin dose (SDE-ME)?

For instance:
1) when assigning a DRP dose of 4.5 mrem to SDE-WB, does the RP software also
assign 4.5 mrem to the SDE-ME?

2) when assigning a DRP dose of 4.5 mrem to SDE-ME, does the RP software also
assign 4.5 mrem to the SDE-WB?
