Palo Verde provides the following response:

Yes both normal lead blankets and scaffold
Has this changed the frequency at which the lead/scaffold must be
replaced?
No
What kind of storage container/materials are used?
Steel boxes for shielding and steel racks for scaffolding
What dose and time benefits have you seen/are expected?
The dose benefit is minimal since the lead/scaffold was passed through low dose
areas before the boxes/racks were added and the boxes/racks are located in low
dose areas of containment. A significant amount of time has been saved by
reducing the amount of lead stored in sealand containers that had to be staged
every outage. Before the boxes/racks the materials were taken from the sealand
to a low dose area near the work location and then moved into the work location
for installation. Having containers in containment also reduces the number of
workers required to move the lead/scaffold from the storage location to the
work location.
