North Anna normally stores the used Tri-Nuke filters in the vendor supplied
metal carousel (see picture below) until time to remove them from the Spent
Fuel Pool and place them in a shipping container.

Subject: Powernet: Tri-Nuke (or underwater) filter handling

SONGS is looking for betterment idea's for dealing with used underwater
"tri-nuk" filters. At your site do you 1) remove and package them immediately,
or 2) store them underwater until a pre-determined time (like during outage or
some other scenario), and if you store filters underwater do you store them in
some sort of container? Does this container store in fuel racks or is there
some other design?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
