Palo Verde provides the following response:

Palo Verde uses 0.3 micron filters online and we change to 6.0 micron filters
about one month prior to each outage due to high levels of crud being released
into the RCS as boron and lithium concentrations change.

Subject: Powernet: Filter Micron Size

Arkansas Nuclear One Radiation Protection would like to know:

1. What is the micron size of your "Letdown / Make-up / RHR" filters used
during normal operations?

2. Do you change size prior to an outage for crud-burst clean up?

3. If so, what size do you change to?
